BAKE’ s freshly baked cheese tarts have their roots with Kinotoya, a very established western confectionery store in Sapporo, Hokkaido that started out by making delectable chilled blueberry cheese tarts.
One day at a fair, the team came up with the idea of simply lining up the trays with the freshly baked tarts. To their surprise, people started queuing for them. Our freshly baked tarts brought a smile to people’s faces with our crunchy and fluffy textures, along with a rich cheese aroma.
We realized the potential of freshly baked cheese tarts.We immediately remodeled, combining the shop and pastry kitchen into one by installing ovens and racks to line up the baking trays, and started to sell freshly baked tarts instead of the old chilled versions.
